I had heard that the "MN" French Marine Nationale straps were comfortable and I'd seen them in the forums on several different timepieces. This was my first try at this strap after countless rubber, silicone, NATOs and ZULUs. I have found the bracelet alternative for my Glycine GL0261. The black and khaki design brings out the vintage look of this watch. And the comfort?...adjustable to EXACTLY how tight or loose you want to achieve the perfect fit FOR YOU. I can't say enough about the high quality and the FAST SHIPPING! Amazon usually comes through pretty quick for those in the United States - but, I'm an American who's stationed in NAPLES, ITALY. It was here lightning-quick! B&R Bands, you are the HEROES in the "strap game". Thanks for a great product at a great price. - "Doc Tugboat" HM1 (FMF/SCW), USN, Ret.

I’ve only been wearing the strap for one day, but so far so good, the strap is easy to install, easy to adjust and is very comfortable on the wrist, the clasp or buckle or whatever you call it seems to be made of decent quality metal, but I guess we’ll see how the elastic strap holds up. I normally use a nato strap and the little excess bit of nylon strap always bugged me, but this strap has a nice clean look.

Decidedly to roll the dice and try this instead of buying a $100 MN strap, and so glad I did! I wore this for a month before I left this review. In that time, the elastic hasn't stretched at all and it still fits securely. The fabric is nice and soft, and feels much better on my skin than the nylon NATO fabric. In fact, I plan to buy several more of these to replace most of my NATOs.I think the much more expensive MN straps on the market may have slightly softer fabric, but for me, it doesn't justify the price. One thing to be aware of (if comming from NATO straps) is these require you to remove the spring bars to install. Not a big deal at all, but worth mentioning if you're someone who likes to change straps frequently.I noticed B&R make several other strap styles as well, and based on my experience with this one, I plan on trying other items from their line.

Great strap, I have it on my Hamilton Khaki Field and it really pops. I like these since they wear flatter than a 2 piece nato style strap. Not that it's needed with a super thin khaki field, however it makes the watch so comfortable you can forget that it's even on. I wish there were a few more color choices, but the quality of the strap itself is really good. I will absolutely consider buying more of these in the future.

Don't do what I did and install the spring bars first. Install them over the strap and you're good to go.Only thing I'd want is for them to make the buckle with a black PVD coating, would blend in better and match darker watches.

What can I say? It's stretchy and colorful. It's super comfortable to wear in hot weather but not as enjoyable after going in the pool (Just take your watch off). The buckle mechanism is a little tricky to the uninitiated but you can use your middle finger and thumb to quickly slide the hook into the buckle. After frequent use the buckle feels like it slides a little throughout the day but maybe that's just my wrist shrinking. The elastic nature saved my watch from getting ripped off my wrist once already so the concept really works. Also, if the buckle does get loose your watch won't fall to the floor.

This 1 star won't apply to everyone. I gave the band 1 star because I think we can all agree that when purchasing something we all go see the 1 start reviews first to find out what is wrong or disliked with a product. So 1 star is to save someone from making the same mistakes I did and to make sure anyone looking at this band for a traditional watch buys different pins.Strictly speaking, my review is for smart watches not traditional ones. I think this would be a solid 5 stars for the band and a -10 stars for the pins that come with this particular order for traditional watches. If you do buy this band for a traditional watch face, get different pins with the little leaver on the side that withdraws the end of the pin, because those are NOT what is sent with the band. The ones sent are solid sticks with ends that retract but are damn near impossible to retract. You will destroy your finger nails and curse the damn pins while juggling the whole ensemble and trying not to scratch your watch face with the band's metal clasps. In my struggle I accidentally set my watch to German or Dutch? No idea, but now I can't read it to change the language and have to go Google the words so I can navigate to change it back to English. Save yourself the heartache, get the pins with the tiny knob that retracts one end. I'm currently stuck unable to get the friggin' solid pins OUT and I'm not going to bother translating everything to go back to English until I can get the pins out. Who knows, maybe I'll accidentally reset it to English in my struggle to remove the pins? (I wish!)Now, apart from all that, the band is not usable for a smart watch as the band covers the back sensor. The reason I purchased the band is 1. I have FREAKISHLY small wrists. Legit, kid sized. 2. I'm traveling to an area where pickpocketing is high. 3. I have ADHD and having a smart watch is really helpful for time management and as the watch is right on my wrist I don't have to go purse-dive or find where I put my phone down. The finding my phone via my attached and not-easily-misplaceable watch is an ADHD godsend. So wearing a smart watch is something I really need. After some Googling for some theft-proof watch bands, this one came up and it seemed like it would a fantastic solution to my number 1 issue and would also be more challenging to easily pickpocket off my wrist, making it also a great solution to the number 2 issue. When I purchased this band I looked at the specs as far as pin width, and I looked at the images included in the description on the top. I didn't, however, scroll down to see how the band was installed because it wasn't relevant at that moment and I thought it would, like most bands, have designated ends that attached. I incorrectly concluded that it (like the photo in the description without a watch face shows) would double loop around the wrist. Nowhere in the description does it say that the band will block the back of the watch, or that it's not usable with smartwatches.Smart watch: zero starsTraditional watch: probably 5 starsIncluded pins: -10 stars and minus whatever fingernails you had to start with.

I picked this up for my Hamilton Khaki Field Watch. Very uncomfortable, looks awesome and feels secure. It did take a bit of playing with to figure out how to get it to fit on my small size wrist, but once I figured it out, it was awesome.
