She has a deep blue prom dress and this necklace is a perfect. blue.So many of the lab created blue saphire stones do not look blue except under direct lighting.This on does. I changed the chain to a dressier one to be worn with a prom dress. This necklace looks expensive with the new chain.

I immediately replaced the chain, which is pretty cheap, with a white gold chain, and it is a lovely combination.
