While I understand you get what you pay for, I have purchased other pocket watches made in China that are good quality and workmanship. This watch has a nice glass crystal on back to see movement which is nice, however the main watch crystal is plastic and is loose in case. It can be easily moved back and forth. Hands are hard to see in daylight, but when back lit by glow in dark background easy to see. The case looks very nice. It short, good idea bad production.

The media could not be loaded. This beautiful wind-up watch keeps time remarkably well- for well over 20 hours on a single wind (actually 24 in some of my tests I think, but let's be conservative). It is easy to operate and the windows allow for a decent view of the inner workings. Perfect for a functional addition to a steampunk costume or as a simple conversation piece.However... It seems to sometimes stop or slow its operations if flipped face-down and at certain other angles.This is a big drawback for two reasons- One, it limits how I can view the rear window, as setting it face down on a well-lit table is not an option now. Two, if I wore this in a vest pocket and it tilted and jostled I'm not sure I could be confident it wouldn't flip the wrong way and lose it's otherwise stellar time.I don't know a lot about pocket watches, maybe this is normal behavior for them. But it seems like it would detract from their usefulness and I don't recall the product description mentioning anything about this issue.Thanks!
