I wasn't prepared to become a watch tinkerer in the process, but, the tools come with it, and it makes for a unique ability to size this metal band watch exactly to one's wrist. In this case it is for my elderly mother who has a very small wrist so that the watch, as it came, just hung very loose on her wrist. However, the small watch face with the traditional sweeping hands my mother loved. Also the how to adjust this is unique to what I've experienced, and so the requirement of the tools it comes with, which isn't particularly difficult, but also is more than just tightening to a particular notch on a band.For the price it is an excellent addition to one's watch wear for formal wear, and for more elegance on the wrist. My mother, at her age, really would have trouble fixing the band herself even with the provided tools, so this is to be considered if you are gifting it to another, if you may need to aid them to fit it to their wrist, as at the low cost, they may not find it worth to pay a jeweler to do it, hence why most likely was included the necessary tools for this interesting band.
