These have become some of my favorite earrings! I get compliments every time I wear them. Their beauty speaks for itself, but what's also great is how comfortable they are. They're not too heavy and there's nothing sharp or pokey so you can even sleep in them if you want to. I have extremely sensitive skin and they don't irritate it a bit. No itching or redness. Just great all around!

These .925 sterling birthstone earrings are simultaneously simple and ornate. The organic, leaf-like shapes formed by the silver Celtic knot design provide the perfect amount of icy shine to complement the color of the cubic zirconia stone. Larger than stud earrings, though still delicate, they dangle from the earlobe just enough to lend movement and added sparkle. Brazenly disregarding my assigned birthstone, I selected my favorite stone, the sapphire color. It was a difficult decision, as there were several tempting runners-up. This design can be dressed up or down, but I suspect I will wear them most often with jeans and a T-shirt.The earrings arrived, suspended in clear plastic, in a black, see-through plastic frame, which can be hinged open on the side if you wish to preserve the unique packaging. An orange and black gift box, sporting a tiny bow, was also included, along with a generously sized cleaning cloth.I love the comfort and added security of leverback earring closures. This pair appears to be fairly well made. However, I do wish the wire portion that passes through the ear to meet the hinged leverback clasp were a bit more substantial. I think it will be important to exercise care when putting them on. It would be an easy tendency to bend the ear wire to fit into the leverback clasp, rather than relying on the hinged movement of the clasp to secure the earring. I’m afraid that any repeated manipulation of the fixed portion of these delicate ear wires might, over time, result in fatigue and breakage of the metal. It is worth a few extra seconds of my time and attention to make sure I can wear these pretty earrings for many months to come.

I tried taking several photos, but none of them captured how pretty these earrings are, so we'll have to go without. The point is, these earrings are gorgeous. They are incredibly sparkly and look great all around. In my opinion, they'd make a great treat for yourself or a gift for a birthday or (my personal favorite) Mother's Day.

These are really stunning! I love the stone color and the sparkle and the Celtic design. Absolutely beautiful! The backs are secure and they were packaged perfectly! I have never seen such an ingenious way to protect jewelry in shipping that can still show it off! this does come in a gift box so they're already packaged to be a gift should you desire.Due to the weight and positioning of the stone they do have a tendency for the top of the earring base to tip forward a little instead of hang perfectly straight. I didn't realize that the backing is as large and noticeable as they are (not necessarily a bad thing), but they are beautiful earrings and I enjoy them very much.

Perfect as a gift, or to keep for yourself. These earrings arrive in a nice gift box and are packaged between 2 layers of plastic (in the smaller box) to keep them from coming loose and crashing around within the gift box. If you are giving these as a gift you can remove them from the plastic sandwich and place them in the black foam bottom of the gift box so the earrings will be displayed when the recipient opens the box. There is also a silver polishing cloth included, which is nice.After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned about the thickness of the earring stem that goes through the ear (and almost didn't order these). However, I don't find them to be thin. You can see what they look like in the image. The part the goes through your ear is pretty sturdy, certainly not like some flimsy costume jewelry I have owned. I haven't actually tried to bend them, but I can apply some pressure and they don't seem ready to budge. I can also tell that these are sturdy based on their weight. I wouldn't say they are particularly heavy, but I can definitely tell they are there compared to some of the other earrings I regularly wear.Overall, I'm really pleased that I ordered these earrings. I chose the sapphire and they are very pretty. They would like nice for a dressy occasion, but I'll mostly wear them in normal day-to-day life.
