This is a very nice watch. I wasn't familiar with the brand name, so I wondered if it would meet the standards of watches in this price range. I'm pleased. The watch case is sturdy without being unnecessarily heavy or large. The face size is perfect. The gold accents stand out in person even more than in the pictures here, which gives the watch a complex and premium look. Keep in mind this is a self powered watch that uses your movement to power the watch, so it must first be would when you get the watch. Once wound, it has kept flawless time for me. The things that impressed me most with the watch is the band. I normally hate these metal type of straps; I replace almost all of them immediately. I'll be using this strap. It's attractive and easy to adjust. The best past is how thick the strap feels. Most metal straps of this design are a thin sheet of metal, but this strap feels almost as sturdy as a traditional metal dive watch with their chunky straps. Overall, this will be a very nice additional to my watch collection.

The watch is beautiful.I received the first one and the rotor made a weird noise. Quite loud and annoying.Sent it back as I thought it could be a problem. Received a replacement and it has the same annoying rotor noise.I am inclined on returning this item.Such a beautiful timepiece but the rotor noise doesn’t justify keeping it.

I have been an avid watch collector for over five (5) years now but my collection mostly consists of sports/military and/or diver style timepieces (quartz and mechanical). This watch is definitely a “formal “ or dress watch and it is just beautiful!! I really don’t have this level of a dress timepiece in my collection because none have really ever “fit my eye” like this one. I ordered the rose gold and it is just stunning.In my opinion the case dimension of 42mm fits perfectly on any wrist especially the bigger ones like mine because they have designed more ebony black dial and less rose gold bezel so it looks bigger… and I really like that. The dial is simple and elegant with rose gold indices and hands. The calendar date is at the 6 o’clock position (small but readable).For those of us that marvel at the “mechanics” of a timepiece’s movement, this one has a beautiful “display” style screw down case back where you can enjoy observing the intricacies of an automatic movement. Since they don’t provide the specs on the case back crystal, I assume that it is mineral and not sapphire, which is not a problem for me since it is only 3 meters of water resistance.The dial, on the other hand, is a beautifully domed sapphire crystal, but I don’t believe it has any anti reflective coating on it (which is definitely NOT a dealbreaker for me).It comes with a 20mm wide mesh style glossy ebony black bracelet with a safety clasp. As advertised it is a “men’s standard” length…just barely. The minimum length that fits my large wrist is 22cm and this just barely fits me comfortably, so please make note of that. It comes with quick release pins so it only takes a few seconds to change out the bracelet for another.All in all, this is a well designed and executed timepiece that is at an affordable price for what you receive and I highly recommend it.

This is a nice looking watch. The band, the exposed mechanisms in the back, the simplicity all seems so elegant. but it is let down by the lack of time keeping and inability to track dates. Not all months have 31 days so you will have to adjust the date on the watch at months end. The time tends to drift off everyday. Unless you want to constantly adjust it, each day, it is not a reliable timed watch. The aesthetics are all there. It really is very pleasant to look at but it just has too many shortcomings to justify the price tag. I have found the winding mechanism to be finicky and is difficult to set just right. There is a constant clicking as you turn the wheel which feels like it means the mechanism is going to wear out a lot sooner than anticipated.I had high hopes for this watch. If you just want something with a semi-accurate time but looks really nice, this is a do-able watch. But I think your money would be better spent elsewhere on a Fossil, second hand Citizen, or Timex.

I liked the SOLLEN Men's Ultra-Thin Mechanical Luxury Watch because it is a well designed luxury men's watch. Some of the features I liked are the Automatic self-winding feature (must be worn), the Stainless Steel mesh strap and minimalist design, luminous display and 24-hour functionality. The watch strap in not high quality, but if you read the online tutorial it will explain how to adjust the band for the correct wrist size. Overall, this is a mid-level quality watch with wear and scratch resistant stainless steel Rose Gold case with a thickness of 10 mm, a transparent mineral crystal and a double press safety buckle with a 3 ATM water resistance rating. I think it is a little pricey for this quality level--four stars!

It looks pretty nice and so far, I've had no serious issues with this watch. I don't know how long it will stay water resistant, but so far, I've been able to wash my hands perfectly fine.

I ordered this beautiful men's watch for our youngest son because we're so proud of him and I wanted him to go into his professional life with a really great looking watch.This SOLLEN men's watch is light, thin, and does indeed look very luxurious. I really love watches that have the see-through back where you can see the watch works. That combined with it's really classy look gives a really professional look and feel. I ordered the rose gold which is really beautiful. I love the glue in the dark hands and thin profile.I appreciate that this watch has a stainless steel case that won't be affected by moisture or perspiration. We haven't had any problems with the clasp. It's a safety clasp and has to be pressed twice or it might come unfastened.If you're looking for a classy looking men's watch for yourself or as a gift, this one is absolutely beautiful and would be appreciated by whoever receives it.Recommended!
