Just received this watch and at the moment, couldn't be happier. I had the real Seiko version of this watch and paid around $650 dollars for it. While I loved it, I ended up selling it after several months because it wasn't my daily wear, it wasn't accurate, I didn't want to ding it up and ultimately couldn't justify having that much money laying around to wear once or twice a month. So I got this one. As far as I can remember, it looks like an exact match. The weight is exactly as I remember as well and I am really liking this watch. Too soon to contribute to its accuracy but the Seiko was off 15-20 seconds per day anyway! The lume is extremely bright and lasts all night through. I took the bracelet off and replaced temporarily with a green Maratac nylon strap but I am hopeful it is as well built as the original (save a couple of sharper edges) watch itself and seemed to be from my initial impression. I cannot confirm nor deny the 200 meters water resistance, the A/R coated sapphire crystal nor the NH-35 movement but for the price, it's a no brainer. I will actually wear this one because I am not afraid to ding it up.

Received the watch quickly. Came well wrapped in a plastic box with a spring bar tool. No instructions or guarantee card. But - it looks amazing. So far it is running 2-3 seconds a day slow. Pretty good - I’ll check it again in a month. The watch is just beautiful and the sapphire crystal has a beautiful bluish tint shows well against the black dial. Illumination is great and the outer bezel characters glow blue. Etched crown, sterile back. The 20mm waffle strap it came with is fine, but I like to switch straps around, so right now I’m wearing it on a Maratac silicone deployment strap which is very comfortable. The movement hacks and hand winds, which is a great improvement over the old 7s movements. This Captain Willard homage watch is a fantastic value for the $, with a Seiko movement too!

Beautiful watch, amazing dial, bracelet could be improved, no lume on the bezel, crown runs smoothly, for me over all this watch is a 9 out 10! Very happy with it!

Nice watch, good quality in general. But after a week normal wearing the lume coating fell out. I love seiko and thought this homage watches' are good value, but not.

Very cool dial options. Sapphire Crystal, 120 click ceramic bezel, good lume, NH35 movement, solid craftsmanship on the bracelet too (though it's a little loud).. Captain Willard Seiko Prospex homage at 1/10th the price. What's not to like? I'm very happy so far.
