I think these beads are plastic. At any rate, some of them are not colorfast and the dye comes off on your skin, which is not exactly ideal. I suppose that's what you get for the low price.

Cute I loved but it got caught on a button on my shirt and I barely pulled it and it broke! Charm and beads went everywhere! I think I got them all was planning on maybe seeing if I can fix it with fishing line but I dunno.
