I bought several of these for my husband and they are stamped 925 but they are not, they are plated on top of a brass colored metal and the plating wore off. My daughter is a jewler and tested them to be sure.

I love the silver chains from NYC company. This 3mm, 30” Figaro link is diamond cut and so sparkly it stands alone without a pendant. The lobster clasp is easy to work even with my clumsy old hands. The quality is great the chain feels smooth, no catchy areas and it’s comfortable to wear, no irritation on my neck. Love the sparkle of this chain. Would make a nice gift, anyone would love a sterling chain. Very pleased with the chains from NYC, I own several and they are always beautiful and great quality. Highly recommend this

I am really enjoying this silver figaro link necklace. The clasp is easy for me when I put the necklace on backwards. What I'm most excited about is that this necklace does not tarnish. I wear it in the shower and almost never take it off. I have been wearing it for several months with no problem. I also love that this is so durable. I sleep in it and it feels almost weightless on me yet it's a nice quality.I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and that I have given you the information you need to make the choice that is right for you.

The media could not be loaded.  This chain evokes controversial feelings: when you see it from afar, it looks beautiful, but if you look at this item closer, you will understand that there is nothing in common with a quality Italian silver item. So: - I did not spend money and check the quality of this silver. As I said at first glance it does not look bad. My son wears this chain for a long time and it hasn't broken, lost its luster and shows a good appearance. But he has never showered with this chain or worn it on his naked body, so perhaps it saves it from tarnishing; - if you look carefully at the photos presented by me, you can easily note the non-soldered elements as well as the low quality of some parts of this product - these are the connecting rings, the lock itself and more. In conclusion, I want to say: if you want to buy this for yourself or a teenager, this may not be a bad option, but if you want to give a memorable gift, then I advise you to look for something of a higher quality.

This necklace is beautiful and does not kink like cheaper necklaces. It flows and moves very smoothly.I ordered the 3mm size and am very happy with it. Sturdy. Comes in a small fabric branded pouch. The 30” length is long enough to slip over my head, so I never have to deal with the clasp.
