I bought this for my sister in law and she loves it. I thought it was going to be cheap looking, but it's not.

First, it's a shockingly solid ring. Admittedly, it has more metal than most rings (due to the ability to change shape) but it's still surprising, since they could've used lighter, cheaper metals. This is a big plus.It looks nice. The pictures exaggerate the quality of the stamping (there are some slightly less stamped characters) but it adds a sort of charm to it.There's only two remotely bad notes. The first is an easy fix, the latter doesn't matter to most people.1. The chain it comes with is remarkably thin. Get a different, better chain. Mine arrived broken.2. At least as far as I can tell, this isn't "really" an astronomical ring. That is, while it does expand, the symbols seem to be wrong for actually finding your latitude or telling time. I wouldn't expect a $5 ring to be both this solid and an accurate replica of 16th century technology, and I feel like the former is better to have for the majority of people.
