When I first opened the gift, the necklace was very sparkly and bright. I’ve worn it every day for about a month now, and it has lost some of its shine. I would not recommend wearing it in the shower or if you’re going to be sweating at the gym, etc. I would only wear it as costume jewelry and put it away when you’re doing daily cleaning and activities.UPDATE:I only wore this necklace maybe about 10 times and it turned brown and all of the finish came off of the necklace. I wound up having to throw it away because the quality of the necklace was not great!

They say it doesn’t fade. This is false advertising. “ 14k gold plated brass,good quality plating with clear coat,trendy looking and doesn’t fade;” It DOES fade fyi! But it’s super cheap also and can be worn for a short period before it fades. I would look into finding a place that recoats your piece since it’s an inexpensive item. Just don’t expect it to NOT fade. I would give it a better review if they didn’t say that. ✨🙏🏼
