I have been searching for just the right size jade circle earrings for awhile, to match a pendant and ring, but I hesitated to order on line because of the color I wanted. But, after reading many reviews on these and others, I kept coming back to this pair of earrings, I didn't want a long dangle, I did want sterling silver and I didn't want a heavy earring but I wanted them to be noticeable. The Asian motif was a bonus. I recieved them very quickly and ordered two pairs because if they were what I hoped, I wanted to gift the other pair. They are not heavy, quite comfortable actually, the perfect color, both pair match beautifully and i am very picky. I am also a retired jeweler and was pleased to see how well made they were, I especially was attracted to the bezel mounting instead of prongs, the jump rings are all soldered and the post is substantial. AND they are in the color range I was trying to match, so I'm glad I took a chance because I reasoned that the price was certainly affordable and if i had to return them, so be it. I am very pleased and looking forward to seeing the look on my friend's face when she receives her pair and the very pretty satin case they come in. The actual jade circle is the size of a dime but twice as thick, slightly mottled in color and is about 1 1/4 inches long from the top of the post design to the bottom of the disc. It is not one solid color of green, just as the photo shows.

These earrings are perfect. I bought these to match Bling Jewelry Green Jade Pendant and they look wonderful together. I would recommend for anyone who doesn't was too small or too large and earring, particular because Jade can be a bit heavy.

For quality alone of these earrings, I give it a 5-star rating. For meeting my need, I give it a 1-star rating. Here's the disconnect. They are pretty, looking exactly as they do in the picture. However, I wanted something with more weight, something more substantial. They are as light as air, more for a child than a woman. Very little presence. I'll end up gifting them to a girl of 12 or younger.
