They are pretty and appear to be well made. I personally would have liked an earring back that was a little bigger than it is. As we get older, it’s a bit hard to handle the tinier backs!!! And these earrings are ample enough to support a bigger back.The earrings do sit a little high on your ears but that doesn’t seem to impact their appearance. I got several positive (unsolicited) compliments the first time I wore them.

These are nice, well-made earrings. I gave them four stars only because what drew me to purchase them was the black streaks in the gem. The imperfections if you will. The pair I got are fairly homogenous in color. They are beautiful, don't misunderstand. I just wish they had a bit more character.
