14k Yellow Gold Earring Back Replacement Secure Comfortable Ear Locking Tension Grip Tight Nut (Medium) I bought these 14K gold earring back replacements after having lost one of the backs that came with my 1 carat solitaire studs. They arrived in a timely manner and within the projected dates. The item was undamaged and well-packaged in a beautiful box with a magnetic closure. I ordered the size medium and they were the perfect size to keep the studs from drooping on my ears. However, they are not so big that the backs are visible from the front. The posts on my earrings are not the screw on type but have a polished gold posts. These earring backs fit very snug due to the tension grip feature and require effort to pull them off the post. The backs appear just as pictured and I would buy them again in a heart beat.They look expensive and are actually more appealing to the eye than the backs that originally came with my earrings. I feel my earrings are safe and secure with these backs. I am seriously considering replacing my other earring backs with these for my gold earrings. They are wonderful!

I needed to replace a lost earring back for my 6mm 14k gold ball stud earrings. I purchased these because I need a minimum of 14k gold. Otherwise, I get an awful red rash with swelling at the site. These are perfect. I've been wearing them and the size med is great for the 6mm. The first time I used them, they were a little difficult to push in, but after that, they were nice and snug. I'm sure I couldn't have used a size Small with my earrings. Those might work for the 2-4mm gold ball stud earrings, but not for the 6mm or higher.

I have one earring hole that is so large that my one caret diamond earring worked its way throgh and fell to the floor. So I bought beautiful diamond earring jackets that I thought would take care of this problem. This created another problem, now the earrings are very heavy and they droop. Then one morning I get up and step on something and it is my earrings with the back still on. So I stopped wearing them because I was afraid I would lose at least one of them. I was shopping on Amazon and looked at different options to see if there was anything to solve my problem. I read all the reviews and ordered these. Absolutely love them. Not only do they take care of the problem of the earring working it’s way through my earring hole, but they keep the earrings secure and close to my ear which now no longer droop. Like I said, I have 1 caret diamond studs and 3/4 caret diamond earring jackets, so they are heavy and this works great. I bought a medium not sure it they would be strong enough, but they are perfect, Well worth the money

These back earrings are perfect for holding up heavy or large stud earrings. No more droopy earrings. I love it so much, that I immediately buy another pair of this one and 14 K lg white gold and med. of a 14k yellow gold to replace the backs of some of my earrings. These are terrific! Great size and weight. You can feel the back close around the post. Not inexpensive, but the earrings they are supporting in place cost WAAY more. A great value.
