I didnt check the photos amd didnt expect it to be this big but i really like it, kinda dirty so i will try to wipe it couple of times before using it but its okay i will use it on a darker scarf anyway so wont leave a stain. Overall very nice piece

The Filigree Knotted Ring brooch design looks amazing and is very sturdy. The only negative was that it arrived a little oily with a powdery black residue on it. Even after rubbing off the oil and rubbing it down repeatedly, some black residue continues to rub off, which means I can't use it with anything I don't want to risk staining (like dressy scarves). I am hoping the residue eventually stops. I have purchased several different brooch styles from Armory Replicas and this is the only style thus far that has had the residue issue.

Love the history behind this piece of “jewelry”. as a follower of The Vikings on History Channel I noted they clipped their blankets around their body in cold weather. Hence the cloak broach!

The brooch worked with my shawls, I just wish the ring part is a bit smaller. Otherwise it will be perfect for what I use it for.
