Hello, Fellow Amazon Shoppers!Here, we are looking at the VivaGlow Apple necklace: One look at the brief silent video I’ve attached reveals how dainty and sparkly this necklace is.As also seen in still photos, the blue (“Sea Blue”) is not washed out but a true blue…not turquoise but instead a lighter pastel shade of blue topaz.⬇️So why the one star deduction, you may ask?The Chain. Trying to be fair here: The price on this necklace doesn’t command a truly high quality chain, but here are my thoughts about the chains nonetheless:1. It is a standard ring clasp. This particular clasp type will be more prone to weaken or even break, unlike (i.e.) lobster claw clasps. Ring clasps, esp lightweight ones as this, use tension or a spring loading action to open. When a lightweight ring clasp as this, the clasp mechanism can collapse w frequent use or even a sudden tug when it catches on clothing. The chain is adjustable, however, so if you or your gift recipient wish to layer this with something else, keep in mind this is an adjustable 16-18” long chain. So there’s an up side.2. This chain comes attached in several different places to a cardboard holder, encases quite tightly in shiny plastic wrap. I was struggling to release the necklace from these adherents, fearing the very delicate chain would snap. Phew….got it ok myself. But be on the ready yourself, and if gifting, it may be best to unleash the gift from these trappings so the presentation is more focused on the gift (vs getting it untrapped).That’s all for now.
