It’s a very capable tool to measure your breathes, to calm one self or for breath training. When I meditate, a portion of the process is monitoring the breath, and controlling the pace and respiratory forces. This does produce a calming effect, lowering the heart rate and blood pressure. You can found this to have a decent appearance, with effective function. You blow into the tube, which offers a constricted pathway, which limits your breath. Thus, you need to measure your breath, controlling and maintaining a slowed tempo. This triggers your body to relax, and induces a calmer state.

I was worried that what happens when I get most colored metal products would happen with this one (The paint falling off, etc) but to my surprise, it didn't. The chain is very sturdy and decorative with colors on it too. It is a great tool for me to bring to work and school., and it has helped immensely. I would warn you to describe it to bosses, teachers, or whomever it is because it does resemble a vape. When you breathe out it makes a noticeable sound so not as subtle as I would like but it gets the job done. I would give it 5 stars except for the noise when using it, so 4 stars.

I've bought a few different breathing necklaces for anxiety, and this one is my favorite. There's one reason for that. I love the whistle shape. It's easy to hold it between my lips while I breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth without having to drop the pendant. I might buy the colorful one as well. If they came out with more colors or any with designs on them, I'd probably buy some of those too.

The necklace is nice looking and heavy. It looks like a whistle but very little air gets through so you don’t have to worry about disturbing someone as you use it to breathe. The ring is just a piece of wire with some evil eye beads. It can be used similar to a fidget ring. The ring looks cheap compared to the necklace. I had to go back to Amazon to look for directions on how to use these items because there was nothing in the box. This oversight should be addressed sooner rather than later. So far, these items have not helped the young lady I got these for. It has just been a few days so maybe in time that will change. She is a Freshman in college and suffers from anxiety from her first time being away from home. I am hoping this set will help her in some way. I will update my review if she does get some relief from her anxiety.

I chose this product to try to alleviate my kind of minor, just under the radar anxiety that is pretty much constant for me. I really like the black, gunmetal-style chain and whistle (that barely makes a sound when blown), feeling the heft and weight against my breastbone, worn under my shirt, did help the kind of chronic low-grade anxiety I tend to have. I was a little disappointed that the package didn't contain any kind of instructions for use of these items. The ring is alright. It fits best on my thumb or forefinger and kind of functions as a fidget toy for me because the beads are moveable around the ring itself. The ring is very thin wire so I worry that it's going to bend easily or break if mishandled but so far so good. I haven't, so far, noticed any significant change in my anxiety level since I started wearing the ring (or not) but I've decided to alternate days wearing and not wearing the ring and necklace or something similar to get a better feel for whether it will do what it's advertised to do.Not much for style but *hopefully* helps with low-grade chronic anxiety.

I've dealt with anxiety for as long as I can remember and I'm always looking for new techniques to alleviate it that don't involve going back on medications, which is where mindfulness comes in. The only trouble with mindfulness for me is that I often forget to practice it in the moment but having a tool to help ground me dangling around my neck makes it easier to remember. This little necklace aims to help anxiety by mindful controlled breathing. The pendant silently and gently restricts the speed of air coming in and out, which slows your breath and helps you be more aware of it in the process. The construction of the necklace is very nice, the pendant has a decent weight to it and I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the chain. The ring is alright. The wire is flexible enough that it is easy to resize but it still holds its shape when it needs to and the beads spin freely, though it too dainty for my taste so I'll probably gift it to someone. The whole thing came in a nice little gift box with a pull tab and the inclusion of a polishing cloth and a little pipe cleaner for the pendant is a nice touch. Obviously a necklace is not going to be a magical cure for all your anxiety, but if you're like me and you're looking for a convenient tool to help you regain a little control and be more mindful I would say it's worth it.
