This is a very classy and expensive looking earring. The metal is sturdy and has a little weight but not too heavy for the ear. It is not too shiney either. Delivery was exactly 2 days after ordering and I have been wearing it since, got a lot of compliments. It is not a typical round hoop. It has a semi oval shape at the top which tapers into a flattened shape at the bottom. It's not too big but big enough to make a statement. It's about 3/4" in width and 1.5" long which is a perfect size for me. my only disappointment is that it is not real silver, I thought it was when I was purchasing the item. I would not have purchased at that price if I had noticed that it is silver toned. Too pricey for non silver. I would have paid more for it, if it were silver. I hope I get a number of wears before it change or rather I hope it doesn't change.
