This is a nice piece in general. The detail work is better than expected, and the colors are very pretty. The chain bears the appropriate 925 stamp (on the connector near the clasp). There is not a stamp on the pendant, which is not terribly unusual and in my opinion not massive cause for concern.The crystal is a bit confounding. It's not faceted to speak of and it doesn't feel cool to the touch, so my best guess is that it's some kind of resin (plastic or plastic-like substance). In consideration of that fact, the price ($36 at time of review) might be just a tick high for what you get. The silver is real and the detail work is good, but I'm not sure about the blue/green part.It comes in a nice cardboard gift box (like a step up from the kind you get at the craft store, but still cardboard) along with a polishing cloth. It's shipped in plastic bags (one for the pendant, with the chain wrapped around, and the whole thing put in another bag), which is appropriate to prevent tarnish as much as possible in warehousing and transit.

Hummingbirds hold a special meaning for me so when I saw this I had to order it. Its very pretty, so feminine. I'm going to get a thicker chain because this one is a bit delicate for me, but This is a beautiful necklace and would be a perfect gift
