This brooch looks exactly as pictured- it is rather big- but just lovely. Will be suited for a winter coat or some fabric that is substantial. Comes in a great gift box too.

I doubt any of this Swan is real abalone except the green top wing. Abalone does not have air bubbles, that I know of. The pieces aren’t well fitted together and the neck?The back piece has an easy form to follow but they didn’t. The neck of the swan looks broken (they didn’t shape it right) and other pieces were dropped onto the form without fitting them together. Could have been a beautiful swan pin. My mother will decide if she likes it (birthday present).
