This necklace is so beautiful! It's 14k gold plated and listed as brass. The birth stone is cz. I initially ordered this for one of our teenagers, our 13 yr old daughter. However, when I saw it I decided to add it to my collection, but my girl still wears it.Personal story, but deals with the necklace...Our daughter was a twin, but only she survived in the womb. I waited until a couple of years ago and told our daughter everything and let her formally name her. She chose the first name, Angel. So, when I saw the back of this necklace says, "My Angel" I knew it was meant to keep it for myself. I didn't see this when I ordered it. So, it was very touching when I saw the writing when I opened it. It's absolutely lovely!I'm sensitive to jewelry that's not 100% gold, so I wear this when going out or on days I need to physically feel the presence of our Angel baby. I keep it cleaned off and polished just to keep it in good shape. It's 18" with a 2" extension, so it's long enough for my liking. It's such a great deal for $10 (at time of my review). It's definitely worth buying. It's beautiful, meaningful to me, and our daughter that was born in November loves it too.

The pendant on this necklace is absolutely beautiful, but beware- the chain is very cheap. I gave this to my daughter for her birthday, and the chain broke within a week. She is 10, so I'm sure it didn't "just break", but I know she wasn't yanking on it or messing with it like that. I'd say get this for the pendant and throw it on a better chain, but worth the money in my opinion.

Necklace is medium length on me. Can’t really use for layering unless paired with extra long and choker styles. It’s a small pendant, and I love the size. Very sturdy inset. Haven’t had an issue with it flipping about. It is the same gold as many of my other jewelry, so it blends well. Great tribute piece too.

This necklace is so cute! I got it for someone as a birthday gift and got the August color birthstone. It's very dainty and cute, not bulky. The chain seems very durable and is a good length on most adults. Kids could probably wear it too, but they might need a shorter chain. The quality seems great, but I'm not sure if it can be worn in the water or not, that would be my only concern.
