I had a smaller pair of these earrings years ago. They were hands down my favorite. The clasp on one broke and I spent years, no exaggeration, looking for an identical replacement. No luck until these arrived and yes, they are perfect! There was one reviewer who was disappointed because there is "plastic" under the gold, but the product description clearly states that this is gold over a resin core. I suppose this method of gold overlay is still legally allowed to be considered "real gold", but I don't know much about how that works. Anyway, the earrings are exactly as pictured, very shiny, and the clasps are nice and tight. I'll be wearing these often! Be careful, the only downside of gold over a resin core is that if the clasp breaks, that's it. No one will repair it. Trust me, I spent months trying to get someone to fix it. I'm so in love with these earrings, I'm buying a second pair in case one of these breaks.
