Then he wore them for another 29 days in space aboard the space station.After the trip, he wrote a letter of thanks to the Vostok watch factory, telling how much he liked this watch, and also distributed the watch to his friends.So if you need a watch that has been in space, but you don't want to pay $1,000 for it. Amphibian, It's a ticket!

Very good watch. New production of an older classic with improvements. I changed the watchband to a leather. Keeping perfect time and holding together for a week now. Simple yet classy. Needs minimal winding. I love Russian watches, this is like my 6th one and 2nd Vostok.

I love this watch. The vostok amphibia series of wrist watches are impossible to kill. I especially love the emergency compass bezel that this nautical themed design carries. It has the same red zone for diving and depending of you are in the northern or southern you use the hour hand to determine north and orient yourself by moving the bezel accordingly. Being a civilian model it is lighter than the military service watches but that can be a good thing in such an over built design.

Their is something about the Vostok Amphibia. It isn't the mots accurate watch in the world. It isn't the most refined watch. But for your average everyday automatic timepiece, it is right up their with the Seiko 5. The Lume is pretty good for a watch at this price point, the water resistance is stellar, and the Russian aesthetic is so much more fun. A timex quartz watch is arguably more accurate. But if you get a Vostok I doubt it will be the only one you get.

Great looking watch, the dial is exactly what I expected it would look like. It is better looking than the photographs suggest. I love the size (~39mm case size, 18mm lugs). One thing I particularly like about this model is the black painted hands; really gives a good contrast. I will be changing the bezel on mine, amphibias are easily modified. Seller was prompt and cares about customer service.

Purchased with the Vostok Scuba Dude watch. Arrived early. Watch is beautiful, keeps good time and is rugged. It is one of the best looking watches Ive ever owned. I wear it on the beach and for dress up. Five stars!!

Nice dial, but... stopped working after a few months. With these Russian watches, it's a matter of how much you'll luck out.
