The watch itself is a great bang for your buck item. An automatic diver for $100 is unmatched, and it looks great on the wrist. I was even more impressed with the service however. It came exactly on time (2 weeks from Russia to the Midwestern US) and as advertised. Would definitely buy again should I lose or break this one.

Fantastic, automatic dive watch. For the money, you simply can’t beat them. However, the NATO straps are not very good. I would highly recommend ordering the version that comes on the rubber strap. If you want a NATO strap, order it separately (18mm).If you were to try and buy these direct, from Russia, you could get them for roughly $80. However, you can expect a 2-3 month wait for it to show up, if it does at all. Because of that, I think the minimal premium you pay on Vostok watches through Amazon is worth it.

Fun watch and good value. Strap width feels small for the size of the watch.

All reviews I'd read and all YouTube videos I'd watched about the Vostok Amphibian told me to expect a daily variation in timekeeping somewhere between +30 and -20 seconds per day. Mine came and was running +16 secs/day. But one of the beauties of the Vostoks in general is the ability to regulate them with a proper case back opener and a toothpick. I was able to regulate this Vostok and it has consistently run +2 secs/day for the past 10 days which meets COSC standards for certified chronometers! This watch runs better than ALL of my considerably more expensive watches! I made only two changes to this watch ---I replaced the bezel with the one shown (Amphibia 555 PVD) in the accompanying photo and I replaced the strap with a Bonetto Cinturini rubber strap #270.Update as of August 1, 2023: Well, this Vostok hasn't held up to its +2 seconds per day variation that it displayed for the first 10 days I had it. However, after 4 months it appears to have "settled in" and has consistently run between +5.9 and +6.5 seconds per day which is better than my more expensive watches, including certified chronometers I own (although it's been a few years since I've had those regulated by the manufacturer). This Vostok is virtually chronometric given that it falls somewhat within the COSC standards range of -4 to +6 seconds per day.

Arrived in 3 weeks. Great purchase for the value. My wrist is 17,5 cm and the watch looks quite fine. Do not expect high luminescence.

This watch offers the best value for money for a budget or budding watch enthusiast. This watch is robust and durable, with interesting history and engineering. The strap and bezel leave a lot to be desired, but I can't complain at this price.

A few things to be aware of. The picture shown (at least what I see in this Amazon link) seems to show the bezel for the 120811, while the dial is the 120512. Note the difference in the blue dots/lines on the rotating bezel. For the 120512, the color of the dial markers and lume points is slightly off white. Rather than being the same color white as the Amphibia logo the dial markers have a slight green/yellow tinge. This is the case even for the dial markers, not just the lume dots. The lume dot on the second hand is almost the same shade of white as the logo; somewhere in between the dial markers and the logo. Only the dots on the periphery are lumed, the dial markers for the number positions are not. Thus, in the dark and perhaps under stress, it is possible to confuse the 12:00 position. The band received varies widely depending on the dealer.

I loved this watch, but after only three months, it’s stopped working. I believe it was my fault as you should never have an automatic watch near magnets (it was spooning with my Apple Watch one night). Otherwise, it was a great watch. It kept good time, it was very sturdy, and it looked great. Minor issues: scratches fairly easy and it’s power reserve was only a few hours.
