The watch looks nice and feels sturdy, but it is consistently off by four or five minutes per day. I have another Vostok that I bought used over 30 years ago, that has never been serviced, and still keeps perfect time. Unfortunately, the quality of my new watch is not the same.I have had the watch for just over two months, it has never been wet, and it has only seen light wear. I looks like it did when I took it out of the box, but it just does not keep accurate time.

The second hand stopped moving and it stopped keeping time. I tried winding but it could not revive the watch. returning it.

Own it for the fun of owning a Russian in house movement watch.Out off the box, it's +30 seconds off per day on the timegrapher. I've owned 3 Vostok watches, all three have been over +30 seconds. Even the made in chine watch I bought off Aliexpress managed a +6 sec per day.It would be a fun conversation piece, except for the fact that no one cares about your watches, so unless you force the conversation, the fun is just for you.

This watch was purchased for my retirement, looked beautiful, and kept pretty accurate time for just under three years - then quit altogether. Emailing the vendor got basically nada as the warranty was done, and the price to ship and repair was beyond the original cost. The vendor suggested to just buy another for a replacement! I was incredulous at this because why would anyone purchase a replacement when the original went tango uniform so quickly? This watch is touted as a dive watch, but mine never was even showered with, let alone swam with so all I can say is Caveat Emptor, folks. Oh, and now, USA has economically sanctioned the manufacturing country, so parts will be even more expensive, if even they are actually available. Yes, the watch did became my favorite, until it quit on me. Sometimes one lesson is enough to preclude a second try; this is one of those times.

Great retro look on the wrist and the blue accent on the hands really make the watch pop. Keeps time pretty accurately so far. Bang for your buck as usual vostok.
