This necklace is a beautiful, bold piece, a delicate teardrop shape on a simple stainless steel chain. I like that this is neither too big and heavy to wear often nor is it too small, it really is just the right size to wear regularly, if that's your intention.The chain falls around 9 inches long and can be extended another 2+ inches, with the pendant, at its tightest length, the necklace hangs about 10 inches long.Amethyst is February's birthstone as well as the stone for the 6th wedding anniversary.The stone symbolizes cleansing, protection and inspiration, while historically it was believed to assist in prophesy and visions as well as bringing power and riches to its owners.This necklace is a soft yet eye catching piece, it's lightweight, though it doesn't fell chintzy.My only slight complaint is in regards to the chain, which either because of the size of the links or the weight of the chain, it just doesn't seem to match the stone in quality or beauty.Even with this, the necklace still earns a solid four stars and I could see recommending this as a gift for Yourself or someone You love!Thanks so much for taking the time to read this review and I hope it can serve to offer some insight or answer some questions! :)

The necklace I received had a nice smooth amethyst stone. It was very light colored and not clear, but I realize that every stone is unique. The stainless steel chain was a problem. I measured it as 18 inches, with a three inch extension. There was no circular piece at the end of the extension. There was only one circular piece on the chain where the clasp could be attached at 18 inches. It would be better if it could be adjusted easily to the longer length.

This is a beautiful piece that looks great. The clasp is a little tricky but the strand is strong and should not have any issues. There is one blemish on mine but unless your looking for something you would never notice. This is a great piece for the price.

I want to first start this review by saying I received this item for free but that this does not affect my review or opinion of the item.This necklace is beautiful, and I love that it doubles as a worry stone. I have ADHD and alot of anxiety, so I love to fidget. I just wish that the Amethyst had been attached to the necklace differently, up close it looks more like a dum dum lollipop than a crystal.

It's a nice purple, though more cloudy than the pictures suggest. While I was a bit disappointed in the lack of sharp clarity, the friend I got if for loves it. I thought she might've been just being nice, however she now wears it all the time and other friends have commented on how much she loves it. So, it clearly scored high points for her.
