Enhanced with a raised raven soaring by a textured full moon, this 1.75-inch-wide cuff bracelet is individually handcrafted using reclaimed copper. The cuff is provided with a naturally rustic patina to highlight the raven and emphasize the organic characteristic of copper. Therapeutic Aspects: For centuries, copper has been believed to have a therapeutic benefit. In modern times, it is thought that copper absorbed through the skin helps relieve symptoms of arthritis, rheumatism, tendonitis and muscle pain. While the exterior of the bracelet is polished, the interior is unpolished, allowing bare copper to touch the skin. Worn against the skin, all copper can leave a slight green tint - this is not an allergic reaction, rather a desired natural reaction to pure copper as the micro-nutrients are absorbed. Not all skin types will experience this.
Recycled Materials: The cuff is crafted with reclaimed pure copper using sustainable methods. Pure copper may contain trace elements of zinc or tin, which are also considered beneficial nutrients. However, it is completely nickel-free.
To prevent metal fatigue, don't bend and re-adjust the bracelet every time it is worn . To take the cuff on and off, relax the wrist. At 1/4 to 1/3 of the way between the wrist and elbow, slide the cuff on (as there is less bone mass here). The cuff can then be slid down to fit between the wrist and hand. Initially, adjust the bracelet once so that there is an opening of 1" to 1.5", allowing the cuff to be put on and removed at the same location each time.

This is an extremely well made bracelet. It's nice and thick. The edges are rounded so there's nothing that pokes or digs in. These bracelets are made at the Ildanach studio in Colorado. I have quite a collection of them. These bracelets develop a beautiful patina with wearing. Showering with them on enhances the patina creating a rainbowish shine. The Edgar Allan Poe vibe of this one is fantastic.

This cuff is exceptionally beautiful. The copper is thick and the design is lovely. This is something for a male or female. It would look great with southwest or any silver or black leather jewelry. The bird and the moon are in high relief and the cuff has a blackened patina that will also help it age nicely. It looks like quality wearable art. I love it!
