Appealing to men and women alike, this copper cuff bracelet is individually handcrafted using rustic reclaimed copper and adorned with a raised dragonfly in recycled brass. The cuff is provided with a dark patina to highlight the dragonfly and emphasize the organic characteristic of copper. Durable cuff is handcrafted in Colorado and suitable for daily wear. Cuff measures 1.75" wide.
About the Copper
Therapeutic Aspects: For centuries, copper has been believed to have a therapeutic benefit. In modern times, it is thought that copper absorbed through the skin helps relieve symptoms of arthritis, rheumatism, tendonitis and muscle pain. While the exterior of the bracelet is polished, the interior is unpolished, allowing bare copper to touch the skin. Worn against the skin, all copper can leave a slight green tint - this is not an allergic reaction, rather a desired natural reaction to pure copper as the micro-nutrients are absorbed. Not all skin types will experience this.
Recycled Materials: The cuff is crafted with reclaimed pure copper using sustainable methods. Pure copper may contain trace elements of zinc or tin, which are also considered beneficial nutrients. However, it is completely nickel-free.
Fitting Tips
To prevent metal fatigue, don't bend and re-adjust the bracelet every time it is worn . To take the cuff on and off, relax the wrist. At 1/4 to 1/3 of the way between the wrist and elbow, slide the cuff on (as there is less bone mass here). The cuff can then be slid down to fit between the wrist and hand. Initially, adjust the bracelet once so that there is an opening of 1" to 1.5", allowing the cuff to be put on and removed at the same location each time.

Medium Size is 6.4" end-to-end: suitable for 7" to 7.75" wrist
Small Size is 5.5" end-to-end: suitable for 6" to 6.75" wrist

Absolutely gorgeous bracelet and it's super heavy. If you're looking for a smooth, polished finish, this may not be the bracelet for you. There are no rough edges, but where the two ends meet, the bracelet has spots that weren't polished. I love the finish.
