Haven't had anything in my navel piercing in 7yrs since I was last pregnant with my twins. For a joke someone asked if the piercing was still open. I bought this to try and it went in smoothly without an issue. Main thing is that it is perfect size, discrete, easy to place.

As soon as I opened the package, I texted my husband that this belly ring wasn't worth 10 cents, much less $10. Let me also say I had the same belly ring (in place) for almost 20 years. If you keep them clean/polished and they are well made, they last forever. - I still have that one. I simply wanted a new one. I went to open the thing to put it on and the ball broke off immediately. The ring is basically a round wire and not a solid ring. A belly ring needs to be solid.You don't want it getting caught on something or ripping while in place. That won't happen to me because I returned this utter piece of crap. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and most of my reviews are positive ones. I don't post anything negative unless the product is really, really bad. This is not good enough for the dollar store. So...You have been warned.
