I couldn't really tell with the pictures, but this is actually quite pretty, and cute. I ordered the 1.5 size, and it's smaller than I pictured but that's ok! It also seems pretty strong, especially for how little it is. I recommend it!

I think this may be more traditionally seen as a women's chain because of its delicate appearance, but since I'm not a regular jewelry wearer I wanted something understated and light weight, both as a matter of comfort and appearance, to hold my crucifix. My crucifix pendant is only about 1" long/tall, so a lighter chain seemed the best to go with it. I'm not sure if this word is even used anymore, but I didn't want a huge chunk of bling hanging around my neck.Despite the delicate looking thinness of the chain, it appears to be rather sturdy. And the finish is gorgeous, not too shiny but has that understated but somewhat sophisticated look of silver. It's not like many people are going to see it as I wear it under my shirt, but I like knowing it's there.I purchase somewhat frequently from Amazon and am generally a happy customer, but this purchase in particular was a very good one.

There is no way this is 1.5mm as compared to others that have. Disappointed how thread like it is .... so thin could never put a tiny tiny pendant on it.
