UPDATE: about 6 months later... necklace is still fantastic! I never take it off, nor do i clean it (other than while showering), and it still sparkles like it did on day 1! No discoloration at all. Never catches on my hair, nor on clothes and is surprisingly durable for the amount of times its been yanked on. Yet delicate looking.10 times better than the $200 white gold necklace i WAS wearing. Definitely recommend! Great purchase!Just received this necklace 18 inch it’s pretty with a small charm. very light weight. I never take my necklaces off unless I’m cleaning it. We’ll see how it holds up, sweaty hot flashes and All! Will see if it discolors. But I know silver must be polished once in a while. Hopefully it will not catch on my hair and fabric fuzz like my previous 10 karat white gold rope chain does... i’m so tired of picking out fuzzes and strands of hair from that one. Lol

I purchased this in the long 30" chain to replace a much more expensive but similar style chain. I would say that this chain looks a lot more expensive than it is, and has a beautiful silver sparkle. It didn't irritate my skin at all, either, and I'm sensitive to any mixed metals, so the silver is good quality. The clasp itself felt sturdy, but after about 2 weeks I leaned over a grocery cart, it snagged on the handle and the chain snapped. I think if you wear a shorter length, this would be less likely, but the more expensive version I owned previously handled a lot of daily abuse like that (I have two young kids) and never broke.If this seller offers a wider MM, I might try purchasing that one to see how it holds up. Overall, depending on how you are going to wear this, it could be a very good value, and again it's beautiful, just delicate.**update, I repurchased the same chain thinking for the price I would give it another try. It didn’t even last a day. I picked up one of my kids who tugged on it pretty gently, and it snapped. I’ll save my money for the high end brand chain that lasted years.
