I had some difficulty with one piece as the opening for the ear wire was fused shut. I cut it open and adjusted to accommodate ear wire. Works well, lightweight and it's comfortable to wear with no worries of losing or damaging earring. It's cost effective for daily wear.

I bought these to replace my favorite hoops. They're exactly the same size, and at first I thought they were too heavy, but since then I've gotten used to them. They're really not heavy so I'm not sure why they felt that way at first and why my ears hurt, but now that I've worn them more, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I almost exclusively wear silver hoops, so I go through a pair a year. At this price, I can buy 5 years' worth of hoops compared to what I usuallys pend. The clasp thingy is good too...nice and tight and secure. They don't easily unsnap and fall out like the last pair I bought in the store. They look really nice in person too.
