Ever wonder why your hamburger never looks as good as the ad? How they managed to get a photo that looks this nice I’ll never know. This is the type of thing that if it were in a pile on a table in public you couldn’t give away. If you have it to a blind homeless person they would start crying and ask why you hate them so much. Maybe… maybe it could be unraveled and the string used to tie something together but only something that you secretly hope you’ll lose. The butterfly might be able to function as a way to keep a table from wobbling, but honestly you’d be better off with a folded paper towel. My concern about throwing it away would be that some poor animal might get stuck in it somehow so like your plastic can holders, make sure you cut it into small pieces to prevent that from happening. Even after that, I’d worry about the chintzy butterfly becoming a choking hazard. Save your money, go out and find a rock, draw a butterfly on it- maybe even get fancy and use some paint markers- you’ll have something infinitely more valuable than this incredibly disappointing thing. If, on the other hand it was crafted with love by a child with leprosy who purchased a kit to raise money for their family, then yes by all means it was a worthy purchase and my apologies to that child.
