BluShark's luxury nylon watch strap

Comfortable and easy to wear even though it's thicker nylon (1.4 vs 1.2 for other substantial NATO straps). I was wary before ordering that it would be too thick, and it is thick enough that it was tricky at first to get the extra strap length to fold back over and tuck into the keepers. It is supple and very smooth high quality nylon, and does take a bend eventually. It conformed well, after a couple days regular wear, to the case/springbars of a watch. It ended up being the most comfortable NATO strap I have because it keeps enough of it's shape that it doesn't move around on your wrist, and doesn't have to be tight to stay in place (on these narrow 6.25" wrists). In general, the best fitting straps (whatever the material) can be worn securely at a couple different tightness adjustments--they don't have to be cinched down to fit, but fit fine if snug or less snug. This AlphaBlushark is slightly glossy, lacks any sense of coarseness that some look for in a NATO, and gives a high quality impression while still looking like the military/sport style strap it is. The buckle and keepers are brushed steel, substantial enough. They don't have the coarse, rugged look of rings, but don't look fiddly either, and retain the look of a basic military strap. The logo on the buckle is finely etched (rather than engraved) and hardly visible unless you look closely.UPDATE after a few months: turns out I like this Alpha strap better than the thinner more flexible AlphaPremium. This regular Alpha is only a bit thicker nylon but that and the slight extra stiffness, make it more comfortable over time because the strap holds its shape on the wrist better which supports the watch in place, never slides back/down off the wrist as happens for those of us with skinny, boney wrists. When I’m wearing the more supple AlphaPremium I do have to reposition the watch sometimes and I have to wear it more tightly to keep it in place. It’s still more comfortable than any other band (surprise to me) but everything that I like about a NATO band is better on this Alpha than on the AlphaPremium. Just ordered another. The long end does tuck back down into the rings just fine as it takes a crease. That BluShark seems to offer fewer colors on this Alpha than the AlphaPremium is a concern if it suggests the Alpha is being phased out(?). I find the espresso brown to be a highly versatile color for daily wear and wish they’d offer a honey tan brown too, and a true khaki color instead of the green band they label as khaki.

Impulsed bought this strap on a whim not knowing which watch I’d put it on. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and how durable this strap feels. You do get what you pay for. This strap feels premium. I opted for the 22mm version and it fits like a glove on my Seiko Baby monster. It also makes it look kinda gucci’ish… double hi five to Blushark!

Good quality nato strap just received it, it’s a little stiff but I’m sure it will break in after use,

This is probably the 4th or 5th BlueShark NATO that I’ve purchased, and they are consistently the best price for the finest materials! I just purchased this “Killer Bee or Bumble Bee” strap in 22mm to go with my Glycine Combat Sub two-tone GL0259. It’s PERFECT!I have NOT experienced the fraying that other reviews have mentioned. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just hasn't happened to me. High quality seatbelt-type material, adjustable keeper, great color options, what more do you need to hear? Stop what you’re doing and BUY ONE!

While it was a great product otherwise, it was missing the stitching to keep one of the metal loops in place. It seems that batches from before 2019 had many qc issues. I have no idea if they have been remedied. It should be noted that I requested a refund and send back the product in July of 2018, subsequently forgetting about it. Well, it showed back up on my doorstep today with a "return to sender sticker"... almost 7 months later. Will have to check if it ever went through, but that is a pretty bizarre and unprofessional way to treat a return.

I got this strap to replace a two-piece nylon Barton strap that fell apart within days. The difference is night and day. The steel loops perfectly tuck away the end of the strap, and the seatbelt nylon is the only way to go for a NATO one-piece style, the flexibility and comfort are a must.I'm very happy with this strap.

No lengthy dissertation required here; just hands-down the best Nato strap I've ever purchased, and I will be back for more. This is it, the one, the strap that all the rest should aspire to. Not the cheapest, but you absolutely get what you pay for with this one. Very smooth, thick yet supple, no rough stitches on flimsy material like inferior junk ebay straps, strong as a seatbelt, quality-cut square holes, and the brushed hardware has to be seen to be believed. A class act all the way, and I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I hope they expand the line to 18mm versions, so I can get some for the Vostoks.

The color of the bond reverso isn’t as flattering in person but the quality is top notch.
