I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. I have the same watch in Orange and just love it, which is why I bought another for her. I have piles of very good watches. I have thought about bringing them to someone to get the batteries replaced but had a very good swiss watch destroyed by a local jewler. I also do not want to have them all repaired at the same time and watch them run down at the same time.Not a fan of disposable culture, I have tried many times to find a watch which would last. I bought a seiko automatic. It lasted 3 months. I bought a pair of citizens for myself and my husband. His worked, mine never did.The One Eleven has been working fine since I bought it, about 6 months ago. It has not gotten a lot of sun or a lot of use since I have been home, but it is still running after one day in my yard. It started to run a little slow so I put it under a reading lamp for a few minutes and it is back to running just fine. It is easy to set and easy to wear, light weight and comfortable It is also very well made. One Eleven is a Fossil company. I personally like these better than their limited edition solar, because while their bands are colorful and ecoloigcal, I have read reviews which say they are very scratchy. These are not. They are silicone and very comfortable to wear.I just wish that they made more colorful watches. This was the last available when I shopped for my daughter. We are both all set for now, and I did purchase it hoping it would last longer than the others. SAo far,m they have. I really like this line. It is fun, functional, comfortable and works betterr than any eco watch I have had.

I like the watch, love that I don’t need a battery. Wristband is a great color, but the Velcro is weak. When ocean swimming I felt it come loose a number of times and luckily felt it and was able to refasten before it fell to the ocean floor. I rigged it with a rubber band and it works great to hold the Velcro in place.

Nice looking watch that has gotten compliments. Accurate and very comfortable on the wrist. It has become one of my watches that I wear often

Decent, lightweight, low maintenance watch for the money, cons: white nylon strap looks filthy very quick, feels more sweaty than it needs to, and the hook and loop closures are small and mid-quality. This limits the re-sizing for smaller wrists. While you're shopping, may as well check out replacement 22mm straps!Edit: the pins retaining the strap are integral to the strap and can be changed by hand, but your new strap will need replacement bars!Edit: 9 months after replacing the velcro strap with an olive drab NATO strap that closely matches the face and contrasts with the still-brilliant bezel, I love it even more! Glad I went with the band that goes all the way around my wrist because it lifts broad and sweaty back off my skin, and has two attachment points, so WHEN (not "if") the replacement spring bars jump out during a hike, I have been able to slip the whole thing in my pocket and replace the bar when I'm home.

This watch is disappointing because I have a different one eleven watch which I love that has a smaller face and a metal casing. This watch, for the money, is *really* not worth it. The combination of the huge men's size face and the white plastic casing makes it look cheap in person.I love the solar powered feature which made me really want to like it. I cannot find another solar powered analog watch. Why are these not being made???As for this watch... save your money.

I have a large watch collection and wanted something unique. I like the concept of a solar watch as I own two Citizen Eco-Drive timepieces. I also like that this was made in part out of recycled materials. I bought this mainly because of these reasons but also because I liked the orange and blue color combination.Upon receipt of the watch, the second hand skipped every two seconds. This was remedied by charging the watch in direct sunlight for two hours. Some reviewers have mentioned this. If you are just taking it out of the box, the battery is probably low due to lack of exposure to light. Before sending it back, try charging it in sunlight.The watch keeps time well and is a great addition to my collection. I like the color scheme and efficient design of this watch. The strap is unlike any of my other timepieces and holds on well to my wrist. It will be an excellent casual summer watch. I recommend this product.

This is a really nice light goodlooking watch. However it was advertised by Amazon as having a date function. There is no date function on the watch and after checking with the manufacturer, I have determined that there is no date function on this model. I did advise Amazon of the incorrect advertising- zero response, not greatly impressed
