I bought 5 of these brooches for my bridesmaids to wear on their dresses. They are the perfect size, a little bit smaller than the palm of my hand, and great quality. They even came in individual gift boxes which made for a nice presentation when I gave them to the girls. My only complaint is that the center of the pin is a slightly raised circle which makes it look more like a flower than a starfish when you look at it up close.
