This is a cute bracelet, but it's definitely for kids, teenagers, and those with a small frame. I had to pull it open as far as it would go to get it over my hand, and that bent it out of shape. Once on my wrist, it snapped back into a smaller size and was very tight and uncomfortable. I'm also perplexed by the price. A bent wire and a few charms made of a brass/copper alloy don't, to me anyway, add up to this price. Alex & Ani bracelets seem to be pretty popular right now, which is likely why they cost so much. A good gift for a middle-schooler.

I think cockatoos are hilarious little birds, so I don’t mind having one in my arm. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they that they symbolize much more than hilarity. This bracelet comes in a polished gold finish. The cockatoo and success charms have some depth to them. The brand charms are a nice addition as well. You can open it up to fit you hand/arm size as needed. I’ll be wearing this bracelet regularly.

My wife is Alex and Ani obsessed so no matter the metal or design, she loves it. This Cockatoo bangle is shiny bright gold. There are five dangling charms with the star of the show…the cockatoo! He is approximately an inch tall and has a white inset. The backboard has a cute bird design on it, making this totally gift-able. The bangle adjusts to most wrist sizes. And we love the message on the card “Fluff your feathers and go for your dreams”! Recommend.
