I ordered this neck piece to wear with a solid color off the shoulder maxi dress. I wanted a dramatic piece but I wanted an ethnic vibe without being over the top. I like that it is not metal but the snap closure would not look good with a short or updo hair style if you have to use the widest snaps. I would say if you have a small to medium size neck it's fine but if you have a large neck you might have trouble fastening it and wearing it comfortably. Still a nice piece though. 8/10

When I first opened the package I thought it might be too stiff to be comfortable wearing but after putting it on I really liked the fit and the look. You have different snaps for adjusting the fit so it conforms around my neck nicely and is actually very comfortable. It really adds a nice accent look.
