It's a pretty ring but, the stone doesn't touch the skin, therefore only the temperature of the room causes color change. The stone doesn't show much color change. The mood rings I remember in the 70's had far more variation of color change, these do not. Even so It's pretty enough that I'm pleased with purchase.
