I think it looks like a raven or a hawk. Big on the finger, so I wear it on my index finger without trouble. Expandable band fits well. I collect animal rings and this is a great addition to my cache of goodies. Good quality item. Great price! Love it! As a bird person I am happy to find a realistic representation of a bird to wear.
