I have been looking for an acrylic box like this for a long time. Was excited to snatch this up. It came with a protective plastic coating on each face to protect it from scratches. These were a bit difficult to remove in some places. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if some of them were supposed to be left on, but they are all supposed to be removed; it just may be a little difficult to get some of them started to peel off. Once you remove all of the protective coating, all of the acrylic surfaces are nice and shiny and scratch free. The pieces snap together nicely with the help of the magnets. The only small thing I noticed was there are very tiny cracks below where a few of the magnets have been drilled into the acrylic, but it appears to only be an aesthetic issue at this point; I don’t think it will affect the integrity of the box.Getting items into the box required me to use tweezers, but once done, it looks amazing. All the items stay in place really well. As you can tell from the picture, the box does pick up dust quite well, so it might need frequent cleaning when on display.

There have been a number of acrylic shell holders that I’ve seen pop up recently, and among the several I’ve ordered this one was comparable. I have to point out that you really need to pay attention to the listed compartment sizes on these, as they are very small and only a really itty-bitty shell will fit inside. I also ordered the Lugunu Heart-Shaped Acrylic Magnetic Seashell Display Box heart-shaped shell holder, which had slightly larger compartments that were much more useful. I recommend that instead if a heart shape works for your needs.

This is my favorite new storage case for my loose stones/cabs/crystals. It holds a decent amount and is small and travels friendly. I have been using this to transport my gems to trade shows! Love it.

This is so tiny I don’t know what kind of seashells I would place in here I can’t fit any thing in there I thought it would be bigger not even a penny fits

I guess I didn’t look to see the measurements of this before purchasing, however, the images of it with sea shells inside fooled me. This is incredibly too small for average sized sea shells. I haven’t ever found shells on the beach small enough to fit in these tiny spaces (dime for reference in the photo). It’s disappointing because it’s very cute and will even stick to my fridge (empty at least). When fighting to remove the very difficult protective coatings, a magnet fell out as well. If you have something very tiny to display this may work for you, but I’m really disappointed.

I like that this display box is a little larger than the others I have seen. It is not a lot larger than 5 inches across, but it is big enough that you can display items that are special to you. The heart shapes are large enough to put pieces of seaglass or shells that are the size of my fingernails. The box is fillable by removing either of the walls (both walls can be removed) that are held to the body by tiny magnets). If your items are too heavy, the walls can fall off. Currently, this is for sale for $9, which seems like a reasonable price. I would not recommend paying any more than that.

First off, this thing is tiny! I mean, REALLY tiny! It's about the size of my palm! I guess either the measurements didn't register in my brain properly, or I didn't see them because I was not expecting this to be so tiny. Oh well, my bad! Size aside, it is a very cute, good-quality display case. Be sure to peel off all of the thin, protective plastic sheets. Those sheets are always a pain in the butt to get off, and the ones on this are no exception. The little heart openings are really cute, but you're very limited as to what you can put in them. Other than the tiniest of shells, there's not much else you can put in them. I suppose tiny gemstones or mineral specimens might fit. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this tiny thing, but it is cute and well-made.

I ordered this as a gift for my daughter who loves hunting seashells and always keeps the tiniest ones. This will be perfect for displaying and keeping them from becoming lost/broken. It's well made and feels high quality- the magnets works perfect for easy opening/closing to add the shells. It would be cute for any tiny display of items! Love that this exists!
