Is it any wonder the Beautiful Scarlet Macaw is the national bird of Honduras? I got these fun acrylic earrings to bring on a tropical vacation (not to Honduras though!), but I think they'd be just as fun to wear at home.Pros: 1. Cute, fun loving Parrots (aka Scarlet Macaws) 2. Super Lightweight 3. Bright, Tropical colors 4. They don't irritate my ears 5. Printed on both sides.Cons: 1. I've seen reviews of acrylic earrings that arrived in pieces, but I'm not sure how much abuse they had to take to get that way. Mine were packed carefully in a padded mailer, bubble wrap, and a velvet pouch, and they arrived in great shape. 2. With my length of hair they can get oriented so they're more visible from the side than the front.Cons look longer, but I really like these cute little acrylic cut out earrings.

I'm not a "Parrothead" but if you are, these are PERFECT earrings. Even if you just like parrot-related merch like I do, it's a win-win. I can't believe how inexpensive these are. Very lightweight. Not sure if they are stainless/surgical steel, but my ears are super sensitive and they were not reactive to the metal.Update: I wore them all morning&afternoon&the only problem I had was that I almost lost an earring when I put my hoodie on my head. I found it inside my half zipped hoodie. It would be a good idea to get some of those silicon earring backs for these. Also, the metal hook is bendable. I slightly bent the hooks so they would lay better when worn, but maybe I created another problem where they like to pop out of my ears when I adjust my headgear.
