I was really excited to get my ears guaging past a 00, and thought this set was going to be a great deal. Upon arrival I inspected all of the gauges, and to my disappointment I realized that each and every spiral taper in every size was pitted with holes, or misshapen, or the seams on the inside edge didnt meet up, causing a sharp edge that cut me when I tried to use them. The straight tapers are wonderful and fit well, and the plugs are also really good quality, even have the divots that hold the o-rings in place, really nice. But if you are looking to buy this item for the spiral tapers, I wouldn't suggest it. Price wise, I'd buy this item for the straight tapers and plugs, then throw out the spirals before they mess you up like they did to me. Overall I'd give this item a 4/5, would be a 5/5 if I could return the tapers for a partial refund.

In the photo I show the size 14mm that comes with this set. I also show 14mm tunnels I purchased after. I did use the tapers in this product then put their plugs in. I had them in for almost a week. When i went to switch from this products plugs to the new tunnels I bought I had the most extremely difficult time putting my new tunnels in. Yes i used oils and even ran my ears under hot water and massaged them for a bit but I've never had such a hard time before when sizing up and switching jewlery. I gave up twice trying to put my new tunnels in. I almost thought about using the tapers to size up just a little more so I can put my tunnels in. No these are not double flared tunnels so I should have easily been able to just slip them right on. I will be returning because I am going to size up again later on and I don't want to go threw what I just went threw again. These 14mm in this product package must be like 13mm or something and no I don't have the type of ears that stretch easy. I can't ever use double flared tunnels. If you are a person with easily stretchy ears and have had success putting double flare in then this kit would be fine for you.

I got the 36pc of purple (mostly for the spiral set) and I'm in love! I was worried about missing a piece or two but luckily everything was there. Im currently a 00g and the gauges fit perfectly with a little bit of non scented lotion, and I'm so excited to start stretching them again!
