This lovely iolite stone is wrapped in shiny silver to form a pendant, and it comes with a black fabric necklace with matching silver clasp and closure rings. The pendant is a good size without being too heavy or gaudy, it’s lightweight and easy to wear. The stone itself has lovely variations of medium to light grey and purple colors with some white marbling throughout. The silver wire is thick and holds its shape nicely, and the bright silver compliments the stone’s colors. This necklace was crafted with skill and I recommend it! The quality is high, with attention to detail, and it comes in a lovely velvet bag inside a small box, perfect for gifting! Natural stones obviously vary, but I’m happy with the stone I received.

This is a pretty necklace, and so versatile if you wear a lot of black and silver (which I do). The stone is lovely, but I am concerned that the clasp may be fragile. I plan to be extra gentle with it, but it would be a simple matter to replace the clasp if necessary. It came packaged nicely in a velvet pouch, which is then nestled inside a box, so it's ready for gift-giving.
