Far more comfortable than wearing an actual industrial bar. My ear doesn't hurt when I put headphones on or lay on that side now. It's super cute and a good size for small ears. I tried to put one in my nostril piercings to see if it would make a cute nose chain, it was difficult to get in like that but it can also be worn that way too.
