Yes it is dainty, but it works perfectly for what I needed. My husband bought me a gorgeous necklace for mothers day but it was too short. This works great. Some of the reviews state small clasp and rings. I did not have an issue. The clasp and rings matched my necklace perfectly. And the for the price you can't go wrong. Not sure on sturdiness as I just got it.

These are well-made and easy to use. The multiple lengths that are included are very useful. I've paid a lot of money for chain extenders in the past, only to have them break. These are sturdy yet delicate. Excellent product.

Update: I've been using product on a chain holding an expensive artisan made pendant for a month and so far it has held up. I was quite skeptical because the chain is SO delicate. Fingers crossed.Great concept but I am worried that this very, very fine chain could easily snap, causing an expensive and much loved artisan-made pendant to be lost if that happened. If a friend doesn't want these, I'll be returning the set. Again, great idea/set just too delicate for my needs. Oh, and very attractive packaging!

The sterling silver necklace extenders are nice. I like that one extender can be used to adjust different lengths by choosing which circle to clasp into place. I choose the 2, 4, and 6 inch length extenders to have a nice variety. The latches and circles to adjust the lengths are small and sometimes hard to grasp, but most of my necklaces would not fit with a larger circle to clasp into because the clasp on my own necklace is also small. Overall very pleased.

This turned out to be the perfect thickness for the chain I wished to extend. It's small and delicate and beautiful. I order the Sterling Silver 2,4,6. They were exactly what I was expecting. They matched the description perfectly. I highly recommend these. You won't find better especially at this price!

First, be sure to order the size combination you need. I thought I ordered the 2/3/4” set, when I actually ordered the 2/4/6” set. Regardless, they are NOT as pictured in the listing. The photo shows the longest with two loops, dividing it into three 2” sections. It only has one centered loop, so I can use it at 3” or 6”, but not at 2”. I thought I would be able to do so and have more flexibility, but that’s not the case. I now wish I had correctly ordered the 2/3/4” set, giving me better flexibility. It’s not that big of a deal to me, but the photo shown is misleading.Other than that, they are exactly as described. The chains seem just as sturdy as most of my necklaces, and would appear to work fine. They are at the weight I expected them. I don’t understand why others thought they would be thicker. Granted, they are not designed to hold anything heavy, but I would not expect them to.

Love these extenders. They have several jumrings so you can size accordingly. Also like the dainty but sturdy chains. I use these with all my nicer pieces of jewelry that I sometimes want to wear at a longer length. Definitely well worth the money.
