Quick release spring bars are included with and integrated into the band, so it is important that your watch's lug width matches exactly, Please accurately measure the width where the strap meets the watch shell.
Easily install and remove, simply slide the visible pin on the watch strap's underside inwards to release the spring bar for fitting or removal.

I purchased this band to replace the original on my Alpina Startimer pilot watch.the replacement price tag is a ridiculas $125. And that's without a buckle (FYI if anyone has this watch and is shopping for a replacment, don't throw away your Alpina Buckle or you'll be looking at about a $40 charge for new replacement × $125. FOR BAND!) I HAVE REPLACED PAST BANDS WITH ORIGINAL ONCE AND IT WAS JUNK! IVE SINCE FOUND THESE AND THERE JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN OGM BANDS ! FOR $11.00 AND CHANGE! Quick release good idea but poor design. Released four times before I even got my watch on my wrist. Don't throw away your old pins because if you don't replace the quick release ones you're libel to lose your watch along with the new band.

made of pure Chineseium. First glance, no leather smell, feel, smell, etc , not. No tanner smell. It claims top grain leather inside the band itself; not! I speculate it's top-grain 'vinyl', plastic, fo-leather. For you who are old enough; Coronation leather! Remember that 80's Chrysler commercial fathering Ricardo Montalbon? Just a fancy name for not-leather. Nonetheless it loos good - and after breaking in... feels good. Clasps fit and feel appear to be 'at par', contrary to some reviewers say. Ironic: $12 watch band on a $5K watch.
