Good quality pearl; the diamond is sparkly. The presentation (box, etc.) was beautiful, so it would make a nice gift. The chain was disappointing - it seems strong enough but does not look particularly nice, and the color of the gold is paler than the color of the gold of the pendant. (Note: I bought the yellow gold version.) The difference between the pendant color and the necklace is not too noticeable because the most noticeable part of the pendant is the pearl (which is good quality); however, the necklace as a whole is lighter than other gold jewelry I own - earrings and bracelets. Somewhat difficult to close the clasp because of the small size of the circle at the end of the chain. In summary: The pendant is nice and of good quality but I hope the seller will replace the chain in the future.
