I bought these pearls for my daughter for her birthday gift and to say that i am pleased in a huge understatement. They are beyond my hoped for high quality. They literally are a bit heavy in weight compared to all her moms necklace. The packaging alone was a sign that what was inside would be perfection. I will be buying same strand of pearls for my wife, really liked it. Thank you for providing such a high quality love gift.

I'm conflicted about this review, so I'll just go through my process to let you know where I am.Right out of the box - are these real? Yes, but not super thick nacre. Probably about in the right range for the price point, though. The pearls are snug but not individually knotted. The lobster claw is marked 925 on the arm, and the non-clasp parts are not magnetic. (The inner springs of the clasp itself shouldn't be sterling, so it's fine if that part is magnetic.) A lobster claw isn't super common on a pearl strand, but this has an extender so the length can be adjusted - not possible with the more traditional pearl clasps.The pearls themselves - here's where I'm having a problem. These are in no universe AAA+ pearls by any scale I've ever used. The problem is that there IS no standardized scale, so any seller can make up their own where AAA+ is basically middle of the pack. The bigger problem is that most people don't KNOW that, so they see a pearl grade and think it's the same as they'll see elsewhere, essentially making their decisions based on information that's *technically* true but does not communicate truth.On the Chinese scale (which goes from AAAA-A or I-IV, best quality on the left of the dash moving downward towards the right), I'd put these at about AA/AAA or II/III. On the Japanese scale (goes from A, lowest, through AA, AA+, and AAA), these would have to be an A.Japanese first - anything over A must be perfectly round on the Akoya/Japanese scale. These are not round, so they'd end up in the bottom category. The Japanese scale is also not the one usually used for freshwater for precisely this reason. Freshwater pearls can be very nice without being round, and this scale doesn't allow for that sort of combination.Chinese scale - for AA (III), the shape can be pretty variable, and AAA the shape should be near round. Here we're looking at mostly AAA (II) level shapes, but there are some exceptions with points and other features that wouldn't make this a clear AAA. Without writing a dissertation here, the same is going to hold true for other characteristics such as match, luster, surface perfection, etc. The luster, for example, I think is solid AAA territory, but shape and perfection are going to lean more AA. For that reason, I don't think they're a solid AAA, but they are probably a bit better than AA. I'd call them AA+ if not for the potential for confusion with the Japanese scale, so let's just go with III+.At $70 for the strand (at time of review), I think we're in the right general neighborhood in terms of price. (You are not - NOT - getting a true AAA+ strand of most any size for $70.) My primary objection here is that there's a clear intent to describe these as something that they're not, using a scale I personally have never seen or heard of, and which is not explained. I'd be more inclined to give more leeway on these randomly-created scales if the sellers at least produced a chart describing what exactly AAA+ means as compared to their other grades.The tldr here is that the pearls are perfectly nice at the price, but they are NOT AAA+ pearls and that claim is misleading.

This freshwater pearl necklace looks beautiful. The pearls are well strung and sit very comfortably on the necklace. The necklace is very comfortable and has a timeless classic look to it. Definitely gives off that Audrey Hepburn feel to it. The pearl quality is very nice. For fresh water pearls these pearls have a nice lustrous look to them. They all have a nice mostly even shape to them. The pearls are all knotted into place with consist natural spacing to them. Each pearl feels very secure and looks lovely! My singular complaint about this necklace would have to be the clasp. The clasp doesn't feel like it suits the same quality of the rest of the necklace. The pearls look fantastic and the necklace feels well made but, the clasp feels under developed or cheap for such a lovely classic necklace. I do also worry about the durability or longevity of this necklace not just because of the clasp but, the string also feels very light weight. Nevertheless this is a stunning timeless necklace with lovely freshwater pearls that look great! it came packaged well and defiantly impresses during the unbox. The necklace looks elegant and is very comfortable to wear. I'm still very happy with this necklace but, I wouldn't say this is an everyday necklace. This is definitely a special occasion kind of necklace. Would still absolutely recommend because it is well made with a lovely set of pearls. Would just also love to see the clasp upgrades and maybe a more durable feel to the cording.

This is a really beautiful freshwater pearl necklace that will be a great addition to my jewelry collection. It’s a classic staple that will look nice with almost any outfit. The pearls are nice quality and the lobster clasp closer is large and easy to open and secure. There is about an inch and a half of chain that the clasp can be attached to so the length can be adjusted which I love.
